We want to thank everyone who participated in Med AppJam Fall 2013. Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who successfully created and competed with their apps. Please look forward to our next Med AppJam in Fall 2014.
Med AppJam is a week-long tournament where students from all disciplines come together to form teams and create a fully functional mobile app on the iOS Platform. Apps are judged on various criteria and the top teams are awarded prizes and recognition. You can find more information about prior AppJams HERE
While Android has been the development platform for AppJam events in the past, this will be the second consecutive time that an ICS Student Council AppJam will involve iOS-only development. This leads to a natural partnership with the School of Medicine with their adoption of iPads through the iMedEd initiative.
In addition, we are breaking the week-long AppJam tradition and
extending the competition to 10 days.

The app must have a medical focus and must be usable by medical patients to improve their health, understanding, safety, or mood.Go To Top
As part of the preparations for this event, we would like to begin a list of student generated medical app ideas to provide to the development teams. Has there been an app that you felt would help you in your studies or during your time on the wards? The Med AppJam would be a great opportunity to get these apps developed and available for all of our students/faculty to use. If you have an app idea to share, please email them to Dr. Julie YoumGo To Top
